Would I get a scholarshp or financial aid at CMU, michigan ann arbor, northwestern and cornell?
I’m an Indian student who will definitely need full financial assistance and am applying for Mechanical Engineering. I gave the SAT twice (590CR 690M and 720W- 2000 and 720CR 730M and 610W- 2060) I recently gave the SAT 2 and got a 700 in chem, 710 in physics and 660 in maths. I have average grads but I have a Specific Learning Disorder which means i have bad motor skills and short attention span. Its been diagnosed by a Specialist and my teachers have said in my rec that my test scores really suffer because of that
I have very strong letters of recommendations, in which the teacher says I’m an very bright and all, and a great essay. I also have great extracurricularss like winning an international competition in writing, science exhibitions, debates, quizzes, school editorial board, school prefect, soccer etc.
Yes you could get financial aid, scholarships just depend on when you apply and if they choose you, for financial aid you will need to have a set school and have already accepted admission, when you do accept however apply for financial aid through the government, it is call FAFSA, i am currently on it and they offer the full tuition amount of your school however you will have to pay it back most loans are due 6 months after your college graduation so its important to save up as much money as you can to avoid going into major debt after graduation.
